Terms of Use

Last updated: October 6, 2026

In short

Use MinoFTP on Macs you own, connect only to servers you are allowed to access, and understand that the app is provided as-is. Apple's standard licence terms for App Store apps also apply.

1. Licence

Your licence to use the MinoFTP application is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which you accepted when you downloaded the app from the Mac App Store. These terms are additional to it and cover matters specific to MinoFTP.

You may use the app on any Mac you own or control, as permitted by the Mac App Store rules. You may not redistribute, resell, rent, sublicense or reverse-engineer the app, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

2. Your responsibilities

  • Connect only to servers you are authorised to access. Credentials you enter are used to log in to servers you specify. Accessing systems without permission may be unlawful, and it is not something this app is intended for.
  • Keep your own backups. File transfers can be interrupted by networks, servers and disks. Do not rely on any transfer tool — including this one — as your only copy of anything important.
  • Look after your saved credentials. Saved passwords are stored on your Mac as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. What the app does not provide

MinoFTP is a client, not a service. It does not include hosting, storage, bandwidth or any FTP server, and it cannot make a server reachable if your network or host prevents it. Server configuration, firewall rules and hosting are your responsibility.

4. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will work with every FTP server or network configuration.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits, revenue or business, arising out of or relating to your use of the app — including failed, interrupted or incomplete transfers. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Purchases and refunds

MinoFTP is sold through the Mac App Store, so Apple handles payment, billing and refunds. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

7. Updates and changes

The app may receive updates through the Mac App Store that add, change or remove features. These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version always appears on this page with the date shown at the top. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.

8. Apple

MinoFTP is developed and supported by its developer, not by Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you. Mac, macOS and the Mac App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Other product names mentioned on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
